Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Resizes partitions nondestructively
Weaknesses: Slow, doesn't always work
Overall Evaluation: This product has worked well for me in the past, especially when dealing with multiple operating systems and trying to juggle limited disk space. I must confess that I do not use it very much anymore, with the advent of bigger hard drives and open source alternatives. Even so, this product works (usually) as advertised, although you will want to defragment and backup before resizing partitions with important data.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Adds & resizes partitions onto HDDs that are not empty
Weaknesses: Pricey (without rebates)
Overall Evaluation: Since Symantec has acquired the PowerQuest PartitionMagic, the software has become Norton PartitionMagic which is what I have got. The software does exactly what it's supposed to do -- add and resize partitions on a HDD that is not blank and has got existing partitions. It's an essential tool if you would like to avoid backing up and reinstalling your operating system when you want to add a secondary OS to your computer or when you simply want to reorganize your gargantuan HDD to suit your needs better. But beware, the bigger the HDD, or the smaller the free space, the longer it's going to take.
