Strengths: Very inexpensive. Good quality color prints. Perfect for home office.
Weaknesses: None found yet.
Overall Evaluation: Light weight and small, so it takes up little room on the desk. Color prints are of good quality. Better than the Canon BJC 620 we have.

Strengths: Low cost (I paid $30 on sale), small, cartridge price reasonable
Weaknesses: Older model, probably out of production.
Overall Evaluation: If you need a low cost color printer, this should fill the bill. The color prictures I print are very good and people comment how good they are even though this is not a photo printer. This is not the best printer by any means, but for the $30 I paid, that is less than the cost of many cartridges and you get a printer. Although this printer in discontinued, it uses the same cartridges as the replacement printer so cartridges should be available for quite awhile. This printer has only USB connection which I don't see as a problem since all computers in the last few years have it. The software driver seems to work with no problems, which I can't say about other printers I have had.

Strengths: Cheap ink, compact, low price.
Weaknesses: None.
Overall Evaluation: I got black ink for 20/$20 and color for 10/$15. The printer was on sale for $30 at Microcenter... you can usually find it for $40. It is very compact, and folds up well, in case you want to store it. I bought one for the kids... then bought a second so they both could have one. Canon printers are the way to go... buy a printer for the ink costs, nothing else... I get Canon carts for no more than $5, but any HP one is $20. My Canon S600 and my i320 make beautiful 8X10 prints from my 2MP camera... just use good paper.

Overall Evaluation: I just wanted to warn future buyers that the required USB cord is NOT included with the printer. I bought the printer on-line, but now I have to head to a store to purchase an additional cable. I bought this on-line so I wouldn't have to deal with traffic!!! Oh well, I don't understand how you include the printer, the power cord, the software, even the ink tanks... but NO CONNECTION CORD.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Cheap, cheap ink, fast, compact, decent pictures
Weaknesses: Kinda loud, takes awhile to start feeding paper
Overall Evaluation: The canon i320 is beautifully compact, fitting on most dorm desks. Great for a college student like me. The price was unbeatable, and ink is $2 each at ink retailers online. Photo printing is decent, good for occasional users. It really shines in printing out essays, documents, etc etc. Good for the occasional printer.
