    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Inexpensive. Actually comes with a CreativeLabs sound card which I was not expecting. I like the rest for the wrists when you are using the typewriter keys.

    Weaknesses: Maybe it is expensive if all you need is a typewriter keyboard.

    Overall Evaluation: The keyboard comes with software that lets you play in several modes. With the "Impress" mode, you can hit any random key and it will play the song you selected. That could come in handy for a beginning keyboard player like me.I brought this in order to learn so I am interested in the "learn" mode for the keyboard.I have seen computer-piano keyboards before but this was the first time I ever saw a computer keyboard that had both typewriter keys and piano keys in one. I like that they are built into one unit. That way I can add another toy to my desktop without taking up additional space.

    Strengths: Excellent Convenience, Practicality, and great fun & easy music experiences...

    Weaknesses: The only minor weakness is you can't take the Prodikeys with you everywhere as it needs to be connected to the PC...

    Overall Evaluation: I have found the Prodikeys to be perfect for playing, creating, and learning music on the PC. It's also a very convenient midi controller with other music applications. Overall it's transformed my PC into an interactive music playground! Highly recommend...
