Overall Evaluation: I have been an avid Quicken, Quickbooks Pro and Turbo Tax user for about 10 years. This year, Intuit has lost me as a customer for good. Thanks to their new anti-piracy method installed within Turbo Tax I can no longer use my CD writer to create CD-RW's. The product must be activated by connecting to the Internet where a program, which is installed on your PC, creates a code that registers at the Intuit site. This program (secretly) runs in the background on your PC and monitors for Turbo Tax to be used. Even after you uninstall Turbo Tax, the monitoring software remains and runs all the time. After many calls to Turbo Tax, I was finally able to download a program that would uninstall teh monitoring program. Unfortunately, removing the program did nothing to fix my CD-RW issue. Again calling Turbo Tax was useless as their technicians were nothing more than script readers and could not create a thought on their own. Intuit has seen the last of my hard earned money, even if they change their policy in the future on anti-piracy methods, I will never spend another dime on their products. I was treated as a criminal would be even though every Intuit product I have ever owned was bought and paid for legitimately. DO NOT attempt to use Turbo Tax if you value your time, money and functionality of your PC.
