    Duration of ownership:

    Strengths: Good product for non-professional artists with moderate computer experience. Products does everything I need to do to touch up, crop and print digital photos.

    Weaknesses: Like most powerful software, takes some experimentation and practice to learn to use all of the capabilities. Patience does pay off.

    Overall Evaluation: I'm an experienced computer user and found Elements 2.0 relatively easy to use. It installed easily and I was able to be "up and running" doing simple editing of photos within a few minutes. Some of the more sophisticated features require more practice but the online documentation is helpful. In my opinion, the product is slightly easier to use with Windows XP than with Windows 2000 (I have both installed on my network), largely becuase of XP's native support for image formats and manipulation. I'm very happy with this product.

    Overall Evaluation: Product is excellent in its price category. Considering this product accommodates "plug ins" and the third party providers of "plug ins" are abundant, it would have been a service to users if Adobe provided a more convienient and informative means to connect us users to those plug in providers.
