Strengths: The price - great deal from OfficeMax - $19.99 after $10 instant savings and $60 in rebates.

Weaknesses: Drive was loud.

Overall: I was elated when I first bought this drive because of all of the positive reviews I read off of CNET, and the great deal I got from OfficeMax. But you can't believe everything you read. First off, I was disappointed to learn that this drive couldn't access music files that I had stored on cd-rs, and wouldn't let me download mp3s directly to the drive. Secondly, the InCD software would only allow me to format cdrw discs to use as data discs, which are more expensive than cdrs. Sorry to say, I ended up returning the drive for a full refund. I would've kept the drive if only it had worked with Adaptec's Easy Cd Creator and DirectCD. Otherwise, the drive was easy to install, and loaded software quickly.

Strengths: Just Got This Drive In The Mail From EBAY. All I have to say it burns cds pretty quick and load them quick to.

Weaknesses: Sounds like a jet engine, software is somewhat confusing to use.

Overall: I reccomend this drive ot anyone even PC PROS like me. I got mine of ebay brand new and sealed but I recomend getting it from a retailer.

Strengths: Very Fast, reliable, not coasters yet. Installed easily!

Weaknesses: Tray drawer does not close easily if you push on it.

Overall: I would recommend this drive for anyone! I had no problems with it yet. I burned everything with no errors or wasted CDRs. Nero Express is easy to use an my opion the best burning software on the market.

Strengths: Fastest CD-burner on the market. Price is affordable compared to the closest competitor.

Weaknesses: This is a drive NOT for newbies or persons who don't know how to install an internal drive on their own.

Overall: Blazing speed is what this drive is all about. People gripe and moan about the scan documentation and support, my take on that is if you're not a tech. or at least have a basic understanding on how to install an internal CD-Burner on you own without help from technical support, then don't buy it. You would be better off with an idiot-proof unit from Creative but with performance nowhere close to this drive. If you want the fastest burner on the market at the moment. This model is handsdown the overall winner. Check CNET and PcWorld for reviews on this burner.

Weaknesses: Very unprofessional CD, does not even have product name on it.

Overall: Have tried to contact this company via their tech support page. First I sent an email, that was returned to me and said they had a new web page with forms that had to be filled out. I tried to get on their web site for 5 hours, no luck until the next morning, then I filled out their form and it wouldn't send because one field had to be filled out that had nothing to do with this product and couldn't be filled. Finally I found another form and wrote the Marketing department, two days later I got this answer: ?Thank you for the input. You are one of 100,000 people that could not fill out our form. We are trying to fix it so 100% of the people can fill out the form." Marketing I only wanted help with the CD that came with this product and won't run, I could care less if the form works or not. I don't feel you should have to pay for Tech support for a new product, when all you are trying to do is load it. I am returning my CD Writer and buying one that I might actually be able to use. This company is way to concerned about the form and not concerned enough about the product they have already sold and the customers they have sold it to.
