Strengths: price, quality, dlp, great picture
Weaknesses: so far none
Overall Evaluation: I have had this for a year now (I always worrry about people who review things after 3 days). I have only logged about 500 hours on it, but so far it is great. They make them brighter but not for this price, so you may have to pull the shades down if you use it during the day, but no problems at night. I always wanted a big screen TV, but could never afford one. Now for under $600, I got one. The nice thing about this is that you can pack it up. I installed a pull down screen, so the home theater disappears when I have company at the house, unlike a huge TV that takes up half the room. And it's a 7ft screen. Find a TV like that anywhere. I rarely go to the movies anymore. Mine projector is as good as theirs, (if not better sometimes) Buy a projecor and if you do, I would buy this one. I know I will buy one again if I ever have to

Strengths: Easy to setup, drop down menu for picture adjustments, inexpensive compared to others.
Weaknesses: None yet!
Overall Evaluation: I read so many reviews about this projector that I had to own one. To say the least, I am very well pleased with a $700.00 huge screen tv. I hooked everything up through my dvd player with component out and an adapter that you can purchase over the internet. Friends and family can't believe the picture quality from something this cheap. Viewing angle is far superior to a big screen tv. You can use both the 16:9 and 4:3 format on any video. Ambient light is a problem and viewing is best done in a dark room. I didn't see this as a problem since theatres are dark too. My screen is 110" diagonal at a 4:3 ratio and is perfect. Rainbow effect as some call it has never been a problem and my sons love playing ps2 on it.
