Duration of ownership: 8 Years
Strengths: I like the fact that my brothers, sisters (I got 2 of each) and friends can all send pictures right into my frame.
Weaknesses: Considering it is 2009, it is time to replace this 8 year old frame with one that will last another 8 years.
Overall Evaluation: I have owned this frame for years now. Time has marched on and and new technology has evolved. I have to admit I am so surprised what I read in the 1 & 2 star reviews. Do these people really own this frame.

Strengths: Great Idea. Lots of ways to upload your pictures. Does weather reports too.
Weaknesses: LCD Display dark, flickers slightly, dithers pictures, horrible LCD viewing angles, difficult to insert cords, unable to hang it on a wall.
Overall Evaluation: I just purchased 2 Ceiva digital photo frames. The viewing angles on the LCD are horrible. You need to be almost in front of it to see photos clearly. The brightness ratio (even though this can be adjusted) is also poor. If you have a nice dark narrow hallway to place this at the end of you should be set.Trying to plug in the phone cord was also very difficult, I would imagine for Grannys it would be next to impossible and very frustrating. And, the worst thing? Image Quality! Where the Ceiva should shine, it flops. It appears that the LCD panel is only 8/12 bit, as noticeable dithering is occurring on high quality jpgs that I uploaded. This may not be a problem for those with poor eyesight, or are not very particular about image quality. These 2 will probably be returned :(
