Strengths: Great Overall Design. Plenty of intergrated hardware to include microphone 2.0mp camera, bluetooth. Good graphics.
Weaknesses: Large and top heavy, short battery life, low internal memory, no modem and external wifi device.
Overall: My dreams of owning a audio/visual handheld comunication device almost came true with the NZ90. Also have a device that I can hold pictures, record movies, and listen to mp3 all in one made it all worth the purchase. Of course it is not perfect. The batery last almost 2hrs staying on which turns to 2 minuets if useing camera or voice recorder. The sonic stage MP3 player is very restrictive on mp3 often denying you your favorite tracks and requireing magicgate which dosn't work with the new pro sticks gives you more of a headach. Also it has been out of production for a couple of years now requireing you to purchase acessories refurbished from outside sources. Above all it is a good device in its time and still fares well in this year.

Strengths: Crisp graphics, excellent speed, all imaginable options
Weaknesses: Heavy, battery guzzler, very poorly designed charger/cradle
Overall: Outstanding functionality and options. Very good video display, vibrant crisp colors. It has a 2 megapixel built in camera, a voice recorder(comes in very handy at times). Has an MP3 player, I don't know why, it is not all that useful to me for mp3 listening. Wireless connectivity using an optional Sony WLAN is a charm. Connects to internet flawlwssly - get mail and browse internet. Doing data exchanges with a laptop using wireless hotsync is a charm. The product is everybit worth the price and worthy of Sony name.

Strengths: Beautiful screen, great speed, really great picture and video ability, and great wireless abilities.
Weaknesses: No modem available for it yet so you have to rely on a wireless network or cell phone with Bluetooth technology.
Overall: The NZ90 is great. It has become a laptop replacement for me. With office and printing software on the market you can type up Word documents and sync them or just print them out. Web surfing, email, the NZ 90 can do it all. Lots of program space and with a memory stick port even better. The picture and movie ability are also unbelieveable. People complain that it is bulky but carrying a 10oz PDA that can do almost everyting I use my laptop for over carrying my heavy laptop, its not bad at all.

Strengths: Stylish, beautiful screen.
Weaknesses: Worst cradle of all time, literally falls off at every hotsync, too top heavy, plastic outer cover, no memory. Stylus requires too much skill, to place into the top screen then falls out easily.
Overall: The Cradle is unstable as it clips at the NZ90's upper 1/4th, beneath a plastic cover. The HotSync button at the right leg of the cradle frequently tips the NZ out of coupled position. Making this most basic of PDA functions hit or miss. Sony needs to add practicality, functionality and alot less "Stlye" to NZ. The replaceble battery discharges too easily. The Stylus will fall out of the screen easily, and involves too much precision. You couldn't insert it on a plane or in the back seat riding a car. The NX series is far superior: its traditional HotSync cradle design with stlyus holder, is stable, the stlyus ... you get the picture!

Strengths: Speed. Bright Screen. Compact. Built-in 2.0 meg.pix. camera. Huge program storage. Compatibility with MacIntosh (too), etc. etc.
Weaknesses: Stylus is not that easy to store. Hard to find a case that fits it snuggly, but the Sony "rugged" case works fine.
Overall: Worth every penny. I have all the gadgets and use everything. I would highly recommend the purchase. It is very portable, and convenient for travel. I can make all my business calls as well as internet (email) connections quickly, using the easy to carry hardware needed. I don't need to carry a laptop, anymore. The Sony Clie Peg-NZ90 does it all .... including snapshots! Also ... I have downloaded my favorite music. It has a huge storage capacity without extra memory stix, but I have chosen to use a separate memory stix for my games, and one for my music, but you don't need to. Enjoy!
