ATI All-In-Wonder VE 64MB DDR Video (ATI-100711041)

  Strengths: Makes your pc a tv.

  Weaknesses: Doesn't play all the new games but expected.

  Overall: I bought this to hold me over until I can get and afford a ALL IN WONDER X800XT, which is pretty much the most ultimate card ever. It would be nice if ATI came out with a AIW X800XT PE with their tuner chip 550 I think it is? instead of the 200 tuner chip but I guess you can only wish for so much. This 7500 does a good job playing older games and recording tv without dropping frames. I have the AGP version which I do not see on pricegrabber so I will list my review here with the pci. Not a bad card that only cost $75 with free shipping with all the parts from ebay that will hold me over until the aiw x800 xt :-D.

  Strengths: Decent PCI video card for those with no AGP slot, 64MB DDR, watch TV on your PC.

  Weaknesses: With only 64MB DDR and being a PCI slot video card not the best card for gaming. Stay away if hardcore gamer.

  Overall: I enjoy my Radeon 7500 All-in-Wonder very much. On my old computer i had one of the first All-in-Wonders with 16MB. The quality of TV is good but not great....definitely livable and enjoyable. This card is made for people who want to play games occasionally and be able to watch TV, if thats you then this card is great. I have no AGP slot on my DEll 2400 so i had to go with the PCI offering. Graphics are DX7 class so not the best. I play UT2003 regularly on its lowest settings and the graphics and fps aren't that bad at all. Then again im not a hardcore gamer. This card is ALOT better than Intel's Extreme Integrated Graphics 64MB, worth the $85 alone to upgrade from that. This card has to be the primary video card so be careful if you are running dual video cards. Watching TV on your computer is so addictive! Perfect for apartment living!

  Strengths: 64 MB DDR 250Mhz GPU and 500Mhz memory

  Weaknesses: No remonte control

  Overall: I bought this to replace my Powercolor 9000 PCI. It turned out to be faster than the 9000 for gaming. The 9000 was clocked at 250/190(380) and the VE is at 260/250(500). I was new to the AIW line, so I was blown away at all the features that come with the package. The only thing missing is the Remote Wonder. I think I have become an AIW convert. Hats off to ATI for making what is probably the best PCI card available and to Newegg for their good prices and fast delivery.
