Strengths: I decided to replace my Palm because it was the 3rd Palm that stopped sync-ing for me after a couple of years of use. I love that this runs on a windows platform so no problems sync-ing now.
Weaknesses: No built in wireless internet card. That would be the frosting on the cake.
Overall: Very smooth and quick operating system. Built similar to your desktop/laptop so there's the comfort in familiarity. With the windows based OS, the keyboard pops up when you need to type. So you can ditch palm's special writing ways if you don't like it. Plus, it's easier working with microsoft office programs on this platform. In the past I bought Palm systems because of their heralded stability and so far, this handheld is holding up just as well. Knock on wood. Great LCD. Bright and colorful. Seems to offer other bells and whistles but I haven't had a chance to explore.

Strengths: ease of use
Weaknesses: battery
Overall: Oh how I wish the federal govt could get their money back! Eight or so of these were purchased. I "inherited" a colleagues h2200 to use in the field... has anyone noticed what happens when your battery goes dead? Your h2200 loses all of its data and programs! Your activesync connection also does not recognize it so you have to go through and reset up your connection. I contacted HP about this and their response was... "Don't let the battery go dead". Are you kidding me??????????I'm not sure if you can get back your contacts stored on your computer after you reset up the activesync connection, but I refuse to try and will never use this POS again. What was the "engineer" thinking when they created this piece of junk? DO NOT PURCHASE EVEN IF IT'S CHEAP!

Strengths: Good value. Compact. Clear screen. SD & CF card slot. Superior software package. Supposedly good tech support. Fast processor. Reasonable amount of RAM (64 mb).
Weaknesses: Inconsistent alarm notifications in WM2003. Only 32mb ROM. Pathetic carrying case.
Overall: BOTTOM LINE: Buy this PPC! It is truly a tool. Some business people could replace their laptops on short trips with the 2210 with the purchase of a some software, keyboard, CF network card, and VGA card for connection to projector. This is my second Ipaq (3650), & I chose the Ipaq over the Toshiba because of the software package and support. I do miss the 3650?s 3.8? screen but the 2210?s 3.5? is adequate. Buy yourself a nice case. When I buy a $350 computer, I expect at least a felt lined, vinyl carrying case.

Strengths: SD and CF slots; Attractive
Weaknesses: Poor case; No record button
Overall: I debated between the HP 2210/2215 and the Palm Tungsten T3. Although the Tungsten T3 has an incredible display, the lack of a user removable battery and CF slot led me to purchase the HP 2210. So far the HP battery has hardly drained at all, and due to my recharging it nightly should be ample for anything I throw at it (although I haven't used it as an MP3 player yet, or tried out a bluetooth connection). The PDA has been very enjoyable so far. It's ActiveSync feature is far more pleasant than my prior experience with Palm's Hot Sync (although I had a very old Palm unit). The PDA has locked up several times, which I blame on a Microsoft operating system (but I assumed this would happen before I made the purchase -- one of the reasons I desired a Palm). The provided case is absolutely pathetic...I don't even dare to put it on the PDA for fear of scratching the screen or damaged the rubber-grip sides. There is a lot I haven't tried yet, but so far I have been very pleased with this purchase (just need HP to provide a case that I would actually dare use).

Strengths: compact, nice display, CF and SDIO expansion slots.
Weaknesses: no 802.11b, Cradle connection
Overall: This is my first PPC. I had two other Palms. All used for business. Addresses and schedules. The screen is sharp and bright, even at the default settings (50%). I have no experience with other color PDA, but I'm pleased. I rarely use the buttons on the front, so the layout and use is not important for me. The capability for CF and SD is nice. The price is comparable to Toshiba e755. The e755 includes wifi. I will probably get a CF wifi card down the road. I also considered the 4150/5, but the reviews said the 2210/5 had the better display. The cost difference was about as much as the CF wifi cards. I think HP should have put a mini-USB connection directly on the 2210 instead of the synch cradle connection. The cradle is nice, but the non-standard connect is seems wasteful. I've seen USB on digital cameras and the new Palm Zire. Overall, this is an excellent PDA. No buyer?s remorse here.
