  Strengths: AIM, Web Browser, E-Mail and cell phone. Works wonderful. Very useful. I have is a Black and White screen Sidekick.

  Weaknesses: Picture is small and sometime hard to reconize. TMobile need to improve camera speed. No Java for Webbrowser :-( Signal are okay in my hilly area, Strong in miles away.

  Overall: I love the Sidekick very much and is very useful for keeping touch with my wife, family, and friends. Worth it. you should check T-Mobile signal map in your area and other area where you will be travelling before you decide to purchase it. To use AIM for first time user, Sign up AIM on Computer first then you can use on AIM in your Sidekick. that's how it work. I would purchase another T-Mobile hopefully they include Java!!!

  Strengths: aim, email, internet, etc....

  Weaknesses: i sometimes get NO SIGNAL, which is important for me being that i get a lot of phone calls

  Overall: On a whole i like my color sidekick and all of its features, my only concern is the phone service. Either i get no signal or im constantly getting cut off. So T-Mobile something hads to be done on upgrading your service or you will have a lot of unhappy customers. Also i cannot find the camera attachment anywhere for my sidekick..

  Strengths: Nice looking, variety of services, AOL access

  Weaknesses: No AOL access, no AOL Instant Message access, no cell phone access, no Voice Message access, no technical support, no communication with T-Mobile, difficulty purchasing due to confusion on T-Mobile

  Overall: Ordered the Sidekick after AOL discontinued service for their Mobile Communicator at the end of July, 2003. Tried Sidekick for a week in different locales covering a distance of over 100 miles with little or no service most of the time. When trying to return the Sidekick to T-Mobile got comments like "try 611, our notes say we have resolved any problems, you are not looking for a solution here," and even was hung up on by a T-Mobile representative. The $100 discount available to AOL users was a scam since on the Intelenet site ANYONE can get the same $100 discount. My advice - don't even think about using the T-Mobile Sidekick. It just doesn't connect anywhere. The service doesn't exist and the company is full of excuses and problems they need to deal with first.
