ATI AIW Radeon 9800 Pro Video Card (ATI-100713100)

  Strengths: Stable, great graphics, TV output/input, cables provided in the package. Catalyst Control Center is great, very easy to configure your entertainment center, create profils etc.

  Weaknesses: The installation of the drivers provided on the cd is bad. But no problem at all when downloading from ATI and installing. So not a big deal.

  Overall: I've been using this card for more than 1 year now, I'm realy pleased with the performance, it just can't beat the price. I tried some of the recent games and had no problem, crystal clear.The power connector is a bit weak, the computer did not boot (few times) because it was slack . But easy to figure out because of the message on screen saying "power cable unplug on video adapter" or something like that.Get this card on sale like i did (200CAD$)and you won't be disappointed.

  Strengths: Very good videocard!!! Stylish, watch TV and even record!!!, VCD, everything. KICKASS PRODUCT!!! remote , etc DDR2, yes, DDR2, not 1 but 2

  Weaknesses: BADBADBAD DRIVER CDS!!!!! (no problem tho, no big deal)

  Overall: DRIVERS SHOULD BE DOWNLOADED DIRECTLY FROM THE ATI SITE!!! THERE WILL NOT BE ANY BUGS!!! TOTALLY AWESOME VIDEOCARD!!! NO LAG!!!It took me about 1 week to get everyting working fine. Just need to find the correct way. Which is downloading the correct drivers UPDATED VERSION. now it works like a charm!!!PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION IS RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS!!!

  Strengths: great power with a lot of options.

  Weaknesses: can be a bit expensive.

  Overall: I originally got this card to go in my dad's computer but it became mine. The power behind this card is quite impressive. I have run Battlefield Vietnam and Far Cry at the highest settings with no problem. If you want a card that can do everything from games to acting as a tv, this is a great pick.

  Strengths: has none concidering the problems I have had with it

  Weaknesses: drivers, ease of use, customer support

  Overall: this card has not worked properly eversince I purchased it. I have tried using the customer non support from ATI, but get nothing but canned auto responses. the card fails all aspects of it's intented use, I can't get a dvd to play with out noise or distortions on the screen, all games i have tried that require direct 3d all have distorted/missing video/graphics. The same type of graphics/video problems also occur in the TV display, and in my boot up splash screen. I use to like ATI but they have really let me down now.

  Strengths: Great for counterstrike, plenty of punch to keep you going.

  Weaknesses: 9600 AIW comes close in that it comes w/ hl2 and a free coupon for Remote Wonder II. 9600 also packs a decent punch comparatively.

  Overall: I actually have been waiting for this card FOREVER finally i jumped on it for 263 + tax with a rare deal. This is the top of the line radeon card with a tv tuner...
