Strengths: Produces great picture quality, plays back-up/personal movies from DVD-R, DVD+RW, CD-R type of media.

Weaknesses: Can not play PAL format dvd's/media.

Overall Evaluation: Aside from being thin and light this player produces great picture quality. Reads many different type of DVD media. The following type of media plays well in my player. DVD-R, DVD+RW, CD-R. But this player can't play PAL format media/dvd's.
