Strengths: The product flawlessly performs exactly as described

Weaknesses: It lacks the typical high end features found on more expensive units such as lots of output choices

Overall Evaluation: This is the fourth Apex unit I've purchased. The other three are AD-1200, a very similar but slightly older model. From the very first unit through the AD-1600 described here, they've all performed without any problem whatsoever. Of particular importance to me is their ability to play any format CD without the annoying skipping and stalling exhibited on my much more expensive albeit older unit. With four already on hand, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, especially at this price.
