Dell UltraSharp 1703FP Review

- In our suite of graphics tests, the 1703FP placed in the upper half of all monitors overall, and it earned the second highest score in its class (after the Eizo Nanao FlexScan L557) for accurately rendering skin tones and other colors in our group photo test screen. As with most LCDs, text looked great.

Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Paid $475.00 for this panel. Excellent views. No ghosting and good gaming respones for a 25ms. You can swivel, tilt, and adjust height with ease. USB 2.0. 6 months of use and no issues.

Weaknesses: No bundled software for landscape/portiat layout but my graphics card has one.

Overall Evaluation: Definitely the best bang for the buck. Will recommend to anyone looking for a 17 flat panel. Want more real estate, get big brother 19 inch.

Strengths: Picture quality, built in USB 2.0, fully adjustable.

Weaknesses: NONE

Overall Evaluation: This monitor is simply more than I could have imagined I would get for the price I paid. I have only had 1 minor problem with the monitor and it ended up being related to my video card. Bought a new video card, and the monitor was like new again. Very pleased with my purchase - would recommend to anyone shopping for a flat panel.
