  Overall: Coreldraw 12 have new features and it works much faster than the older versions. The price is very reasonable. It's comparatively easy to use. I highly recommend CorelDraw 12.

  Strengths: A great upgrade with new functions that really make it a joy to use. Boosts productivity. Exports to PDF.

  Weaknesses: Interface can be buggy at times, miss the color icons. Nags you to register.

  Overall: I am a long time CorelDraw 8 user who finally decided to upgrade. It was well worth it.I use CorelDraw 12 both at work and at home and I feel it is a much easier program to use than Adobe Illustrator. I am very happy with how well it does all the old tasks yet has a whole new batch of functions (compared to ver. 8). I love the way you can snap and align objects much more easily. The Smart Drawing tool comes in handy and for the price of the upgrade (about $130) you get three well designed programs.I highly recommend CorelDraw 12 as a worthwhile substitute for Adobe Illustrator for most people.

  Overall: Coreldraw 12 works much faster and has a lot of neat features the older version 9 that I used had. It was reasonably priced and did not require a registration code to use it.
