Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Great Software, Scan slides, Color and Image Restoration capabilities.
Weaknesses: A bit slow on image restoration
Overall Evaluation: The Epson scanner is a fast scanner for any user, especially having the capabilities to scan and differentiate many photos on the scan bed, thus scanning one after the other. The software (Epson and SilverFast) are great programs for normal usage (Epson) to professional manipulation of photos (SilverFast). The scanner was a great product for us to purchase for scanning slides, photos, transparencies, etc...
