  Strengths: Compact, easy to use, great lens.

  Overall Evaluation: This camcorder was a nice upgrade from my old JVC VHSC camcorder. Smaller, it fits fine in the hand, but the touch screen would be hard to use for someone with big fingers. The stabilizing system is great and night vision fun to use. Makes beautiful bright outdoor videos. A great product for a very small price.

  Overall Evaluation: I purchased this DV for my wedding, due to the SONY brand new. The DV is very easy to use, especially it provides an easy mode, not need to set up anything. However, the problem is it is very difficult to capture the video to your PC. The embedded software cannot capture the whole video. Instead it can only capture a maximum 10 mins video with some stupid effects and with music. The only solution is to burn the whole video to a Video CD. However, it does not support all the CD-RWs. In my case, I bought another CD-RWs to solve the problem. Moreover, the quality of burned video is unsatisfied. I have no idea whether other DVs have the same problem, but strongly recommend check reviews of other DVs before purchasing this one.
