- WHAT'S HOT: The 17-inch SyncMaster 700NF renders extremely sharp text and beautifully nuanced graphics. It's not the cheapest 17-inch model available, but at $239 it's still a good value.

Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Great picture.

Weaknesses: A little difficult to figure out how to adjust screen and manual doesn't help much, but after you get use to it, it's fine.

Overall Evaluation: I am very happy with the Samsung 700NF. The two lines are there but they are so faint that you do not notice them, and I don't feel they detract from the picture quality. The price was right. It's nice to have 17" after having a 15" for so long. I hope Samsung continues to improve their products.

Strengths: Beautiful screen. Great price.

Weaknesses: The two lines that go across the screen. I heard though its suppose to be that way for technical reasons.

Overall Evaluation: I got this baby for 195.00 from PROVANTAGE.COM. I just can't believe the colors I'm seeing on this monitor. Samsung is really doing a great job with their monitors and ESPECIALLY the prices. WHAT A DEAL!!!
