Toshiba Pocket PC E400 PDA
User Reviews for Toshiba Pocket PC E400 PDA

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: lightweight, affordable, vibrant color
Weaknesses: no cradle, no case
Overall Evaluation: got this to replace my stolen beloved toshiba e310. weight is comparable. e400 is a little shorter, but space is not taken away from the screen, which is the same size, it's due to a shorter handle space on the bottom. i loved the silvery sleek look of the 310, the playful blue look of the 400 is going to take some getting used to. the stylus holder clings to the stylus, great improvement from the 310 where it used to fly out all the time. the colors are much more vibrant on the new one, but a related drawback is that i can see the lines of the screen refreshing more clearly, but i guess i can get used to that. the new one has twice as much memory as the 310, which helps when i want to load more than a couple of cities into vindigo when taking a trip. the 310 had come with a vinyl case and a cradle. the 400 has NO case and a simple USB cable. since i had no choice but to replace my stolen 310, i went with the most affordable toshiba replacement, the 400, and for $192, it was a well-priced option that i do not regret.
