  Strengths: Super bright picture, awesome colors, no ghosting, great price.

  Weaknesses: You can barely see a grid when really up close, no problem if you sit at least a foot away from it.

  Overall: Best monitor I've had to date, LCD or CRT. Super bright picture and great looking colors. Games look really good with it's fast response time (been playing CS & BF2 on it for a while). Wonderful for movies as well, great picture quality. This is just such a great value, I recommend it to any sort of PC user, gamer, movie watcher, or graphic designer.

  Strengths: Sits almost anywhere , light as a feather. Great bightness enhancer , as well.

  Weaknesses: None.

  Overall: Another great product from sony. I can even watch HDTV from my DVI out on my satellite receiver. I aslo like having my PC hooked into the hd15 while having my mac utilizing the dvi port and instantly switch back and forth between inputs.

  Strengths: Awesome output from this monitor. Photos look great as do websites I view. I am experiencing no problems what so ever with Word or any text.

  Weaknesses: none

  Overall: Using a DVI connection and have also used it hooked up to 2 machines at once using both connections. It's very handy to have that analog connection when working on other computers. We looked at many monitors when buying, IMO there weren't any that could compare quality wise with this one. We spent $200 more than planned, but I am not sorry we did. We are looking to purchase 1 more, that's how happy we are.To anyone looking to buy this, go to a brick & mortar store and see for yourself. You won't be sorry you made the trip.

  Strengths: The screen is crisp and so bright i feel like I am getting a tan. The text is clear and I really don't see any blurring or distortion. The outside design is much nicer than most drab designs.

  Weaknesses: A bit low and i wish it could be adjusted higher.. Higher priced than most, but well worth it!

  Overall: This is one great monitor! I highly recommend this monitor. I am using it on a Mac and the quality is even better than Apple's own monitirs, for a lot less. The style is also really cool and much better than all those drab uncreative monsters you see in every store.

  Strengths: Brightness, clarity.

  Weaknesses: Does not pivot.

  Overall: I did extensive research on available LCDs prior to purchase. I chose this over Planar?s PX171M because I could purchase it on the Internet from a reputable company. I was immediately impressed with the brightness and clarity of the display even at the lowest brightness setting. Exceeds all other monitors. Gaming is fantastic. The digital connection is a must for newer cards. My only complaint is that the screen does not pivot, as the Planar. An excellent product from Sony. Well worth the extra money.
