Strengths: QWERTY Keyboard,

Weaknesses: Finding folders, and organizing applications. Needs SIM card to get into the phone.

Overall: Ordered the Sierra phone opened the box and found out how easy it was to set up. A few key features such as the Lighted keyboard, and a constant internet connection when you connect it to the PC was amazing. Avantgo downloaded browser makes it easy to download your internet files and view them later with out internet service. Listen to music, streaming radio stations, and videos. Thought the Windows Media Player would be slow, but it was smooth with no hiccups or delays. This phone even though it's discontinued is way ahead of it's time . If you don't mind not having a camera this phone is great.

Strengths: Highly function. Connect to many things including corperate mailserver. Highly usable keyboard. Nice my Voq seacrh application. Cheap unlocked phone. Not at all slugish except start up. Easy to use.

Weaknesses: Can not find replacement battery. Windows Mobile has far less programs than pocket PC available. Ugly compared to todays phones. Discontinued so no real support beyond 30 days.

Overall: I transfered my sim card and the phone was working for calls and text messages with no configuration. Set up connections for internet for both dailup and GPRS. The GRPS is documented at the web stite link provided by tiger did websearch to find dail-up this way as long as I have service I get internet which is better than my orginal phone. The phone looks cheap but seems sturdy enough. Keyboard and joystick work well.

Weaknesses: A little bulky.

Overall: I recently lost my Motorola RAZR mobile phone, and when T-Mobile refused to give me a good phone at a good price, I decided to do some phone-hunting on my own. I thought this may be a good opportunity to get a PDA enabled phone, and this was the best deal at the sub-100 price range. I am really happy with the phone. It handles all the phone related features very well, and at the same time, does a LOT more!

Overall: Bought this unit for use PDA benefit. Sierra Wireless, which makes wireless PC card modems for main product. Pricing for the Voq is now below $100, at www.geeks.com The Voq's unique design sets it apart from other current keyboard-enabled devices. About the size and shape of an eyeglass case, it sports an LCD on the top half; the keypad on the bottom half flips open sideways to reveal a small QWERTY keyboard. Although the Voq's color screen is narrower than those on some other hybrids such as the Treo 600 or the BlackBerry 7230, the display is still relatively good-sized and, in an indoor demonstration, looked reasonably bright. The Voq uses Microsoft's Windows Mobile 2003 Smartphone operating system, which supports slimmed-down versions of Microsoft applications such as Pocket Internet Explorer, Pocket Outlook, MSN Messenger, and Windows Media Player. Sierra Wireless says you'll be able to configure the phone to work with various e-mail clients, including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange, and Novell GroupWise.
