    Overall Evaluation: This printer is just what you want if you like to have junk sitting on your shelf. Today I was printing envelopes. Out of 97 envelopes, 46 had sections with blank patches. I might as well do it all by hand. This printer would have been pretty good back in 1900. It double feeds paper all the time. If you try to print front and back--have fun. It might take you 1hr for 20 sheets and 5 wasted pages. No good. Oh and by the way this printer is sloooooooooooooooooooooooww like very, very slow. A Canon may drink ink, but this printer is worse. I bought this over a month ago and haven't used it too much. Just had to change out the black ink tank. My Canon which I sadly got rid of after 3 yrs would go through a tank every 2 months, maybe and that was with constant use. My Canon was getting old and the Photo quality was deteriorating some so I got this epson. I was looking for something that would print better pictures and save on ink. It isn?t even worth printing pictures with. The pictures take about a day to dry and the quality isn?t near good.NEVER BUY AN EPSON

    Strengths: Excellent photo quality, when used with photo paper. Decent scans of negatives. Speed is fine for low-medium volume use. Good looking & compact.

    Weaknesses: Can only scan slides & 35mm negatives- nothing larger. Has trouble feeding single sheets of standard paper. Cable not included. Scan resolution could be higher.

    Overall Evaluation: This AIO is perfect for a home/small office user who has no faxing needs. The quality of the photos is outstanding for the price. You can also use Kodak's photo paper (cheaper) for the same results as Epson's paper. The unit is well-designed & fits easily into most areas. However, you load the paper from the back, so you'll want to place it somewhere that you can regularly access it. I compared this to Epson's RX700 & Canon's MP800; for the price after rebates, this was the best deal/feature set in the AIO market.

    Overall Evaluation: It's a very nice machine that can copy, print and scan. However, it doesn't have fax function, a little bit disappointed for home business user. The installment is easy, copy and printing are perfect, the only trouble to me is that takes a large amount of space on the table.

    Strengths: Slide/negative scanner, easy controls, easy to read LCD Screen for controls and picture preview, memory card/pictbridge connection

    Weaknesses: Its a little big, but I found room for it.

    Overall Evaluation: After looking around for 3 in 1 printer, I choose the RX-620. My brother has an ebson photo printer with just 4 ink cartridges, and he has been very happy with the quality of pictures, I figured that this model has 6 ink cartridges, would do even better. I was not disappointed, The Pictures I have made so far are as good as the ones I've gotten at the photo shops. My wife could not tell the difference. I'm still playing around with it and learning all the in's and outs, and having fun. It took me about 20 mins to get up and running and have been going ever since. I Scanned from a book a copy of types of steamtrains chart,(side view B/W) and even scanned it into my computer. I than played around with it and enlarged it to fit on photo paper letter size, and it came out perfect with no distortion. Its now framed and on my wall in my train room. The photos I have so far made I'm very pleased with. I even copied a color 8 x 10 painting, my 10 yr old cousin drew me and reprinted it on glossy photo paper and it came out perfectly. As you can tell I very pleased with this printer, Goodby HP. Get yourself a Ebson. As the Sales rep told me at the store, Ebson is going to be the leader in photo printers. I got a great deal on this too. It was marked down to $249.50, plus with the $100.00 rebate, Can't beat the price of $149.50 with all the features. So far all I can say is that, I like this Epson and looking forward to utilizing all its features. I've got a lot of old 35mm slides to copy and preserve and I now have a machine to do it with.

    Strengths: The actual color photos are quite good. Slide scan worked ok.

    Weaknesses: Can't do B&W copy / scan without using color ink, ink hog, paper jams with super-loud noise, scanner seems to jam after opening it up to replace ink (too often). CS does the transfer / cutr-off thing

    Overall Evaluation: Bought this >1 yr ago for ~$350. For B&W copies, it uses a bit of color ink each time. Phoned Customer Service, they said it does this to improve quality. I said this is unacceptable, fraud. Was transferred and then cut-off. I later looked this up and saw some printers do this - Epson's do. This is a joke, especially consideri g in general this thing is an ink hog, and the ink is expensive. As well, the paper seems to jam often, and then the thing makes a super-loud grinding noise. The actual color photos are quite good. Next time I will stick to a cheap HP (as I always had). Epson, never again.
