Duration of ownership:

Strengths: nice design;

Weaknesses: dark imaage; short battery life;

Overall Evaluation: The DSC T7 has a very good LCD display screen and the design, especially the slimness.The image got kind of dark after I download it into my PC and see it. And again, the battery life is a problem. It is quite short. But then, the extra battery pack is also not that expensive.

Strengths: Small and Well Built excellent picture quality. Great underwater housing. Movies are great to play back on large screen

Weaknesses: Have to getr used to no viewfinder

Overall Evaluation: This camera is so great that I bought one for each of my adult kids and my brother. The underwater housing is fabulous. I took it to Costa Rica and snorkeled and got fabulous pictures and swam with it everyday. I never go anywhere without it. The pictures are very sharp to print and the exposure is excellent. I also have a Sony p200 and a Nikon 880. I just take this everywhere and enjoy the big LCD screen. It has so many features. The movie feature on the big screen is excellent for Golf and other sports. And everyone who sees it wants one. I like it better than the other newer one and other makes. The proprietary battery is sweet and easy to charge. There are some very sophisticated features, I have yet to explore. What can I say, I am sold on it. I bought these cool Timbuck2 ipod cases for every one. They fit it perfectly. They come in colors and have a hole it the flap, so you don't loose it.
