User Reviews for NEC MultiSync LCD1770GX

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Very bright & clear. Love the swivel base and neck adjustments. Comes with cable

    Weaknesses: None so far

Overall Evaluation: Just a great value for the price, bought mine at Amazon and saved a lot over the other places listed. No bad pixels...love the thing. Now remember this is a non-glare shinny screen, to me it makes the images look better. You can adjust for the glare. I would opt for non-glare just due to the clarity, or the perceived clarity. If you are in a bright office with A LOT fluorescent tubes this could be a problem.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: SHARP PICTURE / BRIGHT SCREEN / EASY ADJUST - MOVIE MODES / MAKES 2D LOOK LIKE 3D / ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT AND ANGLE WITH SWIVEL BASE MAKES IT GREAT TO SHOW OTHERS YOUR NEW TOY/LOW POWER CONSUMPTION

Weaknesses: People... People .. People.. You saw the glossy screen when you bought it and this is why you bought it .. makes DVD viewing amazingly sharp, so you cannot then say the glossy screen is a negative.

Overall Evaluation: This screen makes a gamer smile from ear to ear. Graphics come alive. Glossy screen makes it feel like your watching HI END HDTV instead of the usual mat finish on most. YES IF YOUR USING THIS JUST FOR BUSINESS IN AN OFFICE GLARE SCREEN IS NOT THE BEST CHOICE . ALTHOUHG IT WILL WORK JUST FINE. INCLUDES DVI CABLE ETC. SAVE 60 BUCKS ON BUYING ONE. GIVEN THAT AD IN/ THE MONITORS GOING PRICE SEEMS EVEN BETTER. OVER ALL A MUST HAVE FOR GAMERS DVD VIEWERS AND DAY TO DAY DESKTOP USE. note: DESK TOP USERS WILL LOVE THE WAY 2D LOOKS LIKE 3D AND THE COLORS COME ALIVE LIKE NEVER BEFORE!
