Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Runs well on a PC. Inexpensive (especially if I send in the rebate).
Weaknesses: N/A, but I don't do heavy Photo-shopping.
Overall Evaluation: I purchased this specifically to edit digital photos to make them Web-ready for an online store. It was pretty easy to figure out how to use a magic wand tool to select the background and then delete it so it would be white, but our original photos had nearly white backgrounds; then we would reduce the image size and save it in an optimized jpeg format. We've done 300+ pictures, and 100+ more to follow. It seems to have served its purpose well.

Duration of ownership:
Strengths: Easy to learn. It does as much as the more expensive phot software.
Weaknesses: It takes a little bit of proctice to do some of the precision functions - like color correction or bringing out detail.
Overall Evaluation: I have been a Photoshop fan for a number of years and have still have not managed to learn everything. With Paint Shop Pro X, I have been able to accomplish so much more in a shorter time frame. Their tutorials and Help are written so even the most inexperienced photographer can be successful with their project. I would recommend this to anyone interested in Photo editing
