What You Should Know about the C5200N Laser Printer (24 PPM, 1200x1200 DPI, Color, 32MB, PC/Mac)

Installed Memory is Ideal for Five or Fewer Users

This printer's installed memory is sufficient for small offices or workgroups that print typical business documents, such as memos, spreadsheets, or simple Web pages. If you have more than six people using the printer or the printer handles heavy traffic, you will want more memory than this printer provides.

Duration of ownership:

Strengths: Fast first page and following pages, Brilliant color, easy setup

Weaknesses: A little on the noisy side warming up

Overall Evaluation: This printer replaced a Xerox Phaser 8200. This one kicks Xerox's behind around the block and then some. It is faster (21ppm black, 8ppm color) This one was very easy setting up as a network printer and color output for the first page is in seconds not minutes. No more 24/7 power on to keep the print heads warm. Cost per page is touted to be very good. I use this printer as an all-round printer but not a lot of useage per month --2,000 pages per month would be a big month for me. So it fits my needs very well. It will print a full legal sheet. Mac and PC work perfectly. Best part was price! 399 after rebate from Office Max!!
