  Strengths: it does the job for you

  Overall: I got it as a gift from my husband. Here are pros and consPros- Cleans very well. Although its suction is weaker than most vacuums, it passes over the same area multiple times to get the job done. Picks up dust, hair, staples, rice, etc. with ease.- Reaches places you never dreamed of reaching with a regular vacuum.- Easy to use on a daily basis. All you have to do is push a button...or get the scheduler to make your life even easier.- Quieter than most vacuums. The roomba can work w/o disturbing people in the other room. I can turn it on in the evening w/o my neighbors complaining about the noise.- Good with pets. My dog, who hates the regular vacuum, was curious but not afraid of the roomba. My friend's dog had a similar reaction.- Its fun to use! It makes a great gift.Cons- Bad for cluttered rooms or rooms with complex furniture arrangements. It just bounces off the furniture on once side of the room w/o ever finding the rest it. It has serious problems getting around chairs, I've had it stuck under a dining room chair for 10 minutes.- Floor should be clear. Things like clothing, wires, papers must be off the floor or they will get stuck in the brush.- Has low clearance and it can't get over things like dog food so it just pushes them around the room. I would estimate clearance at less than 1/4".- May have problems moving from room to room if the transition isn't flat. My living room is about 1" higher than the kitchen and bedroom and it sometimes has trouble doing the climb. Its fine going down from the living room to the kitchen though.- Very small dust bin. This is especially a problem for carpetted areas. Expect to empty the bin every 2-6 hours of run time. The first run of my bedroom (250 sq. ft., carpetted and VERY dusty) required me to empty the bin twice. But at least I know it's working!- Long hair tangles in the brushes. It's a bigger problem for this vacuum than others. If this is an issue for you, expect to clean the brush once a week. This takes less than 5 minutes.- You'll still need a regular vacuum for corners and other crevices that the roomba can't reach because its too big.All in all, it is a good product can save you much energy and time. Although I had to call the customer service to get a replacement because one of the wheel got stuck with loose paper. The customer service is excellent. the exchange goes without any problem.

  Weaknesses: has to roomba-proof every room before use it. any loose item may cause roomba malfunctioning.

  Overall: 2 weeks ago I received my first roomba. This is no toy or gadget, it is a life saver. I always wanted to vacuum my apartment, but I was so tired when I finally got home. The feeling of guilty and being unable to keep the promise to myself often frustrated my and bothered me. However, it changed when this cute little round machine came to my place. The first time the amount of dirt recovered was unbelievable and the carpet was visibly cleaner. and you can feel that with your feet. With the exception of stains, the carpet looked like it had just been cleaned by a professional carpet cleaner. I have now had the Roomba for a few days. It cleans the living/dining room while I go to work and then charges itself at homebase. Even better, my friend gave me a scheduler remote, I can schedule when I want it to clean my apartment everyday. and enjoy the cleanness when I got home. No guilty feeling anymore. The only complaint is that you have to find the place to position the home base, where has clear rout for roomba to be able to go home and recharge itself. Which means you can not put the home base in the corner of room, it has to be somewhat in the middle of the wall. Also, you may need to Roomba-proof each room before first use, make sure no power cords, papers, floor mate, or small loose items etc on the floor.

  Strengths: Convenience, thoroughly clean the room, it does very good job.

  Weaknesses: Battery runs out quick, not able to surpass the wires. The dirt tray holder is too small.

  Overall: The roomba does the job of cleaning very good. With a push of a button you can sit back and enjoy while the roomba does the job for you. Worth the money spent on this litte roomba.

  Strengths: Cute, smart and not too loud

  Weaknesses: got stuck by cables sometimes.

  Overall: This is a very cute robot that clean your floor efficiently. My wife and I love watching it cleaning the floor because it's just like a live animal bumping it's head around. The battery lasts very long. Although it's a little bit noisy sometimes but it's really nothing compared to the vaccum. Also, it really picks up small dust and hair, I was amazed when I saw how much dust it collected when I first time opened the drawer. When it's hungry (running out of battery), it will find it's way home(charging base). Technology really makes people life easier doesn't it?
