    Duration of ownership: 2 Years

    Strengths: This monitor functioned well for two years.

    Weaknesses: After two years of use, for no apparent reason, a black line appeared on the screen, which grew daily until the entire screen was etched. The screen had not been touched -- the line appeared and grew spontaneously.

    Overall Evaluation: When you buy a Dell SuperSharp Flat Panel Display, get the 3-year warrantee.
