Lenovo ThinkPad X60s Review

- The Lenovo Thinkpad X60s is a fast, well-designed ultraportable notebook geared toward business users. The unit replaces the ThinkPad X41, and while it leaves out a few features you'll find on comparable laptops--such as a built-in optical drive--it's still one of the best ultraportables you can buy.

    Strengths: light weighted quite

    Weaknesses: the poorest customer services

Overall Evaluation: lenovo's customer service is the worest i have even met. (1) long waiting time (about 30 min or more); (2) impatient CS people; (3) poor technicians who did not find the machine's problem at all but gave me the wrong information. finally, i received very good help from ibm CS. isn't it ridiculous? so, if you cannot stand poor customer services, stay away from lenovo please.

Strengths: was great when it worked

Weaknesses: once it had a problem, I couldn't get support

Overall Evaluation: I sent my x60s to the service center 4 times because it kept freezing, and it has been 3 weeks of waiting for it and sending it back. They assured me that the problem was fixed, but now it freezes within a minute of being on. I find it appalling that they would claim that it's fixed when the problem is so obvious. Their only solution now is telling me to bring it in to a local service center where I will be charged a labor fee, even though my notebook is still under warranty. I wish I had found these reviews on support before I bought this machine.
