BitDefender 9 Internet Security Review

- Considering BitDefender's proven record in antivirus, I looked forward to testing the company's first full-blown security suite: BitDefender 9 Internet Security. Unfortunately, while this cleanly designed product is full featured and offers strong antivirus capabilities, its adware scanner and firewall could use improvement.

User Reviews for BitDefender 9 Internet Security

    Duration of ownership: 6 Months

Strengths: Low on resources.Caught every virus thrown at me.Firewall is one of the strongest I have ever used.

Weaknesses: A bit slow in virus scanning, but hey it does the job well.

Overall Evaluation: I was using Norton internet security up until January this year.Norton was a right pain.Blocking a lot of sites I allowed, and letting viruses through saying it cannot delete them or quarantine them. With norton it would take 6-8 minutes to start up. Bitdefender has been a saviour to me, making me feeel safe the first time in a long time.It updates maybe 5 or 6 times a day and does NOT slow my pc down one bit. The full list of features are.... Antivirus... Firewall... Antispammer... Antispyware.. Scriptblocking.. It warns me of everything thats going on in my pc.Try it you will be pleased. Two thumbs up!
