McAfee Internet Security Suite 2006 - V8.0 (Full Product)
McAfee Internet Security Suite Review
- McAfee Internet Security Suite combines solid performance--especially adware protection--with an easy-to-navigate interface. However, a cumbersome installation routine includes some questionable marketing, and phone support is not free.

Duration of ownership: 6 Years
Strengths: I have always felt safe with their product and have used them for over 6 years now. I was very happy on how you could look up for information on viruses and whether some notices you get are many time just hoaxes. They are usually sent to me by someone i know, who does gets emails that warn them that they have to follow instruction on how to get rid of a specific virus. Most of the time it is a hoax.
Weaknesses: Their support has gotten to be terrible. Most of the time I can solve it myself, but there are times that I need their help but there are some of their support personnel that don't understand what I need to know.
Overall Evaluation: I am very upset that our support is outsourced to another country because I beleive that they have a language problem. I am considering changing to another Security Suite when my contract expires.

Overall Evaluation: Poor buy. Better ones available, even if not in suites.
