Strengths: Has done a peffect job on everything I have asked of it.I noticed a VERY recent build date so I am assuming it is a newer model.I really liked the Nero 7 software that came with it.Obviously updated since previous review.

Weaknesses: Since this is my first DVD burner,it may be normal but it seemed rather noisy while burning. Also slow in label burning mode.

Overall Evaluation: Unbelievablely happy with it for the price.Like a monkey on a banana boat!! If the life of it is as good as the rest of it,it'll wind up with a 9 out of 10. Why not a 10? Because there is ALWAYS room for improvement.

Strengths: Labels don't peel off and no Sharpies needed!

Weaknesses: Lightscribe in "Best" mode does take some time to "burn" label

Overall Evaluation: Reads. Writes Cd and DVDs. Also throw that sharpie out lightscribe burns the label directly on the Media! No peeling labels, nice neat look. Lightscribe does take some time to burn, worth the wait ~ 15 minutes for list of album tracks.
