Duration of ownership: 3 Months

Strengths: Nice HD picture. Very clear and vibrant color

Weaknesses: TV could use some more sound input ports for optical cables

Overall Evaluation: Tv was great for about the first 2 months. We then started to get a blue fuzz on the left hand side of the screen. This only shows up after the set has been on for about 1 hour. Tech came out and tried to fix it but did not stay long enough to see if the problem was fixed. Called Samsung back and they set me up with another Tech service guy. He has so far not come out to service the tv because he said " he has another set that is doing the same thing in his shop and so far he nor Samsung can figure out what is wrong". He also said that this is becoming a common occurance with some of the Samsung models. I would hope that Samsung would just buck up and admitt that there is a problem and replace the set. The longer this goes on the worse I feel about the company. Untill Samsung takes some corporate responsibility and the problems are corrected, I would not recomend buying this set.
