Dell Inspiron E1505
Dell Inspiron E1505 Review
- Dell's revamped Inspiron E1505, an entertainment notebook, now includes an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Though still a poor choice for gaming, the E1505 is plenty zippy for any other applications, including music and photo editing, and movie viewing. The 6.9-pound E1505 also throws in pretty good speakers, dedicated media buttons, and a cushy keyboard with stylish white trim, giving you a great all-around choice for consumers who don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a desktop replacement.

Strengths: Screen size and processor speed. The Centrino Duo is worth the money.
Weaknesses: Keys have come off while typing. Paint has come off where my palms rest on the laptop when typing.
Overall Evaluation: I have had no hardware issues with this laptop in the 12 months since I purchased it. However, one call to tech support was regarding the wrong AC adapter power cord that came with the laptop. Talking to someone from India is a major peeve for me and after 45 minutes, a new power cord was shipped to me. It arrived, but is only 2 ft long. Using the optional online chat for tech support was of little help too. I chatted with someone oversees about the paint on my laptop peeling off where my hands rest while typing. This was deemed as "normal use" and is not covered under my extended warranty or the optional coverage I bought.

Overall Evaluation: I would recommend this laptop to any one when it is maxed out, I have the 7200 daul core 4mb of cache so it pretty fast and for the the money i cant be beat.
