Strengths: Bluetooth sync/hands-free, customizable ringer caller ID and caller ID Picture. Speaker phone is loud. Custom alarms.
Weaknesses: Camera lens is exposed on outside, outer LCD is exposed. No standard headphone jack
Overall: I got a great deal (free and $50 rebate) with Sprint 2-yr service. No problems with their software setup or signal strength. The navigation is intuitive and can be easily customized to suit personal tastes. Texting is good although but no QWERTY keys like a PDA. The phone has options to add contacts, photos (for Caller ID), calculator, video, MP3's for play or ring tones & a calendar. miniSD expandable (It came with a 128MB Card, and SD adapter).

Strengths: popular model, so accessories are plentiful, speakerphone is loud
Weaknesses: you need to remove the battery cover and battery to gain access to the memory card
Overall: A decent phone that's great for someone looking for a slim CDMA phone with expandable memory, mp3/mpeg4 playback, and Navigation. It's a nice-looking, widely supported device with solid sound quality.

Strengths: good looking
Weaknesses: battery life sucks...customer service is even worse
Overall: I bought this phone partly because my brother's motorola phone, not a razr but the flat one, lasted for days without having to charge. This razr doesnt even last a day. True, there is much more stuff the 3G phone can do but the talktime and the standby hours indicated on the box is very misleading. I did complain to Sprint but they told me it's good if it lasts for a day. She told me some people charge it twice a day. What the hell is that? Might as well be a landline. Other features that I thought was misleading was that live TV doesnt come with Power vision. I think the ads say you can enjoy live TV but they dont tell you, you have to sign up for ten more bucks on top of the vision plan. Not that I planned to watch TV on the phone but I thought it was misleading. I havent tried the phone as a modem thing. Sprint service is the worst I've encountered in my life. They gave me 5 different numbers to call on different occasions. It seemed like they were deferring it to other departments/Nextel. It would get cut off while I'm waiting. What else...They put you on hold forever. So I had to call probably close to ten times to finally get my battery replaced. Plus the service at the retail store is bad. They told me there was nothing wrong with it. But the battery not lasting one day and saying that's good is just wrong. I charged it for a day as instructed initially but still the battery doesnt last. What's worse is they did something to it so I wasn't able to get any incoming calls. I had to reset it. Maybe there is something wrong with the phone. But if I call in, this will probably happen; i will get the inital customer service, then theyll transfer me to another and say theyll take care of it, it'll get cut off, ill repeat the process, then theyll say call another number, do that, put me on hold for about 30, which then ill call again repeat the process and will do this a couple more times till i come back to the inital service. then theyll do it all at once. so dont do what they say. its just a big runaround they want you to do so you'll quit bugging them. Yes, i'm thinking about ending my contract.
