Palm Treo 700wx Review

- In late 2006, Palm's Treo 700w received a quiet upgrade to the 700wx, which has the same design and runs the same OS but contains enhancements under the hood. Most notable is the RAM upgrade: With 48MB after a hard reset, the 700wx (available on the Sprint network) gives the user twice the available program memory that the 700w does, which goes a long way toward making the new Treo quicker to refresh screens and generally more responsive.

Strengths: So so phone

Weaknesses: Poor camera; internet capability very limited (read useless); poor MP3 player;

Overall Evaluation: All I got is a clunker of a telephone. The capabilities I was sold just "ain't so". And on top of it all: Aliant staff know little or nothing about it or how to use it. Website is confusing and time consuming to navigate. Bottom line: I hate the thing!A week later, even the phone stopped working. My Treo was junk. I say was, because it's in pieces! Never will I buy a Palm product again.
