Sony PlayStation 3 Review
- Weighing about 11 pounds and measuring 12.8 inches wide by 3.86 inches high by 10.89 inches long, the PlayStation 3 is larger than the PlayStation 2, the diminutive Nintendo Wii, or the Microsoft Xbox 360. Like those consoles, it can be oriented vertically or horizontally. Either way, the PS3's striking design looks right at home in the living room (admittedly, however, its polished top surface is prone to finger marks). The PS3 runs more quietly than the Xbox 360 but is a bit louder than the almost silent Wii. Though the unit itself doesn't get too toasty, the air around it tends to feel warm after a few hours of continuous play.

Strengths: bluray drive,free online gaming,bluetooth,etc
Weaknesses: the price
Overall Evaluation: I have the ps3 and I really recomend to others because in many facts I think it is superior than the xbox 360, like in the bluray drive, because in a ps3 you have already a HD drive with a powerfull gaming console and a very interactive computer, where you can chat with others and sending message to them, also with the ps eye you can what them; by the contrary the 360 you have to buy the HD drive, and you have to pay for playing in online and you can't experience the 100% of the concole if you don't area gold member.

Overall Evaluation: As the PC World report already indicated, the PS3 is an excellent player for movies. The added ability to go on the internet and play games is a great advantage over a regular player. The one issue of not upscaling movies was taken care of with a firmware update Jne 28, 2007. See PS3 website. I wonder where the PS3 would place now on the player review? Fourth up to...
