What You Should Know about the VX32LHDTV

Good Screen Size For the Bedroom

Typically, HDTVs with a diagonal screen size between 32 and 36 inches, such as this model has, are LCD televisions with a resolution of either 1366 by 768 or 1920 by 1080 (1080p). For most people, the optimum viewing distance for an HDTV screen of this size is about 5 to 6 feet. That makes such a screen a good fit for the bedroom, the den, or a small living area.

Strengths: This TV has excellent video performance and an acceptable range of video inputs. menus features are good an video is great in both bright and dark environments.

Weaknesses: None really w/ the exception of fewer inputs than my other TV. Considering the price of the set I'm not going to call this a true weakness.

Overall Evaluation: Great TV for the price. I have a 52" bravia in my living room which I'll admit cost alot more that my 32"Vizio, although I feel the Bravia is overall a better unit the Vizio performs exceptionally. I've wall mounted this unit in our bedroom and I'm very satisfied for $500 how can you go wrong?.

Strengths: Low Price. Bright display, great contrast. Vivid colors. VGA PC Input. 2 HDMI inputs. Very good speakers for such a small and inexpensive LCD.

Weaknesses: No-name brand doesn't get the recognition it deserves. More inputs would be great, but it's not lacking by any means.

Overall Evaluation: After owning multiple flat panel LCD and Plasma televisions, I can safely say that this is the best bargain out there right now. This TV was sitting next to a Toshiba, Philips, and a Sharp when I saw it. The store was managed by a very knowledgable staff, and the manager admitted he himself tweaked each TV to maximize it's visual quality. At the store all televisions had component inputs providing the video. The Vizio blew them away, in four main categories: Picture quality, brightness, color depth, and sound. And all for $350+ less than the next-lowest priced tv! This TV serves perfectly as a second tv for the den. I have my PC connected to it via the VGA input, and wireless keyboard and mouse. Now I browse the web and play solitare from the comfort of my lazyboy! Well-worth the price. My recommendation: Go to Costco and take a look yourself.
