Strengths: It strength lies in that from Lenovo this system is only good for a user who doesnt care about crapware or does not have a clue about computers
Weaknesses: can not reinstall with fresh clean tablet. ThinkVantage. IBM crapware. Why would I need to have DVD software if I didnt order this with a DVD or CD ROM.
Overall Evaluation: I think this IBM tablet is not for the business. You can not reinstall the tablet with a different Tablet CD and use the license that came with the tablet. If you want to complete a customize installation then you must pay additional charges to Lenovo to complete this.

Strengths: Stylus and Handwriting Recognition Keyboard Sturdy Hinge Runs Vista Beautifully Screen does not show finger prints
Weaknesses: Screen is not so bright Battery life is good, but not great 8 cell battery jiggles a bit on back
Overall Evaluation: I love this computer. The tablet works beautifully and feels very natural. The handwriting recognition, even before any training, is excellent. The keyboard is clicky rather than squishy. The screen hinge feels very sturdy. I only wish the screen could be a bit brighter (I have the higher resolution model)., and less importantly, that the battery at the back connected a bit more sturdily. Overall, I am extremely pleased.

Strengths: Wonderful machine, fabulous digitizer. My third tablet, and I loved it.
Weaknesses: IBM service is nonexistant
Overall Evaluation: I was shipped a defective machine--bottom third of the screen jittered. Because I am dependent on my tablet, I paid for the on-site service option. First repairman left the machine unusable. Second one took it in for repair. Six weeks ago. No promise of when it will be fixed. Won't replace it. I've demanded RMA and refund. No cooperation. My conclusion: if you buy it and get a machine that never requires service, you will be very happy. If, like me, you need service, you will be very unhappy.

Strengths: 1. very well built2. long lasting battery life (up to 8 hours)3. great tablet functions (pen sensitivity)
Weaknesses: 1. no DVD/CD drive2. low resolution on my model 1024x768 maximum
Overall Evaluation: It is the best tablet PC out there. The build-quality is unbeatable. Go with the high-capacity battery and you can run this thing for up to 8 hours. The multi-view and multi-touch functions are exactly what a Tablet PC needs to have. The keyboard is full-size and still has the best feeling for typing. Finger print security chip is also a big plus. Things I don't like: no optical drive. The screen resolution on my model can only go 1024x768 maximum. Overall, if you want to go Tablet, it is the best choice out there.

Strengths: build quality, 3-year warranty, battery life, finger print reader,
Weaknesses: weight, screen resolution, shortened "Enter" "Backspace" keys, weak speakers, lack of touchpad
Overall Evaluation: I've always heard good things about IBM/Lenovo. So I decided to grab one for myself. This will be mainly used in school to eliminate my regular notebooks and binders. Let's start with the good things. First, like any other IBM machines, the build quality is top notch. Everything feels solid and where they're supposed to be. Lenovo has ergonomically integrated all the features. Unlike the x61, the x60 comes with a standard 3-year warranty, which is a big plus for a laptop. Battery life is good but not 7 hours as claimed. Somewhere around 5 hours would be a more realistic approximation (with an 8-cell battery). The finger print reader provides a sense of security and convenience. The overall dimensions are compact but it does fall on the heavier side for its dimensions. Even without a CD drive, it feels like a 14-inch screen laptop. The screen resolution is only 1024x768, which is a bit dated for 2008. The keyboard feels solid but the "Enter" and "Backspace" keys are shortened, which takes some time to get used to. There is clearly space for a touchpad but for some reason, Lenovo decided not to put one there. The speakers are weak and located on the bottom but I guess for an ultra-portable, they didn't really have a choice. Overall, I'm very impressed with this little thing.

Strengths: small size, multitouch screen features
Weaknesses: No DVD drive
Overall Evaluation: I have had this laptop for a week now. I like all thinkpads and they are best. This is a good laptop as well. The main feature is the mutitouch screen, It allows to do most of the functionality with digital pen or even with touch of finger. Little heavy than other 12.1" laptop in market. It requires practice to work with digital pen or with your finger, but after a while I got used to it. The battery life is very good, more than 3 hours. The only major drawback is it does not come with DVD drive. One fine piece of hardware from Lenovo.
What You Should Know about the ThinkPad X60 Tablet
Multitask and Not Bog Down
The more memory a PC has, the faster your programs run and the more windows you can work in simultaneously. Equipped with memory between 1GB and 3GB, this laptop should be able to handle just about any task you can throw at it without bogging down too much. For instance, if you're a multitasker and you'd like to burn a music CD in one window while watching your favorite DVD movie (for the umpteenth time) in another--while flipping between your inbox and your browser to work on your blog during the movie's boring parts--this laptop can manage it all without a hiccup.
