HP Photosmart R937 Review

- A huge 3.6-inch LCD is the star feature of HP's Photosmart R937. During my hands-on testing of a production model, it caused strangers to stop to watch as I composed my shots, and friends said they loved how easily they could view images on it.

    Duration of ownership: 5 Weeks

Strengths: great screen and touch screen features - very easy to use

Weaknesses: repeated software problems with download to PC, and was never able to get more than 5 of 74 pics transferred to PC. Called help line, re-loaded SW, got updates of SW, tried to retrieve pics using Windows picture manager and Adobe Photoshop, as well as just the USB drive function. Finally, camera just will not turn on at all. Am going to return camera - this is just not worth the trouble!

Overall Evaluation: poor, since the reason to take pictures is to be able to retrieve them off the camera!!

Strengths: Completely User Friendly, Settings are Easy Set For Great Images Without Being A Professional

Weaknesses: Digital Zoom Could Be a Bit More Extensive

Overall Evaluation: I am a person who usually thoroughly researches a product before I make the final purchase. With the hands on research I did with this camera through a friend who has the same, I found it to be totally easy to use. The research on the internet confirmed its abilities to be a great camera. It's compact, user friendly and I have found, so far, no complaints. I have recommended this camera to several folks already. I really enjoy this camera!
