HP PL4272N
HP PL4272N Review
- In our tests, the PL4272N didn't produce the best-looking pictures in our November 2007 issue's roundup of twelve HDTVs, but they weren't bad for the price--though the 1024-by-768-pixel native resolution obviously prevents HDTV from being all that it can be. The worst problem to my eyes? The skin tones on the Mission: Impossible III Blu-ray disc were a bit pinkish.

Strengths: The picture on this unit is crisp and very clear. The stand is not bulky and the black model looks sharp.
Weaknesses: The speakers are a bit big, but most TV buyers hook up their surround systems instantaneaously.
Overall Evaluation: I walked into Best Buy and was schooled on the differences between plasma and LCD. After that hour explanation, I was memorized by the clarity of the picture especially compared to Sony and Magnavox. I have never had a problem yet and we\\\\\\\'re on the 2nd year of having this truly great buy. I have it on it\\\\\\\'s stand on top of a TV stand and it\\\\\\\'s at perfect viewing height. Along with the surround system it\\\\\\\'s truly a great deal.
