User Reviews for Samsung 2232GW

    Duration of ownership: 1 Week

Strengths: Sleek Design, Clear picture, Brightness

    Weaknesses: None

Overall Evaluation: Oh my god the crispness !! Stunning bright. This monitor has some top specs. Only monitor that could match is HP's 22" but i like this one because of it's design and higher points in specs. My main use are HD Movies, Photoshop, Video Editing it's perfect for all of these.

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: 22" widescreen, 3000:1 contrast, 2ms, both DVI and VGA inputs, glossy finish, vivid colors, nice options to play around with (both on monitor and software)

Weaknesses: Price was a little high, but It is worth it

Overall Evaluation: I was debating between the 226bw and the 2232gw when i saw them both in a local retail store, but the quality of the picture on the 2232gw was the obvious choice for me. The 226bw is sharper and grainy like most lcd monitors, yet the 2232gw has a glossy blur (just enough to look nice) which makes the colors much more vibrant. In my opinion anyone looking for an everyday computer use, go with the 226bw, but if you watch as many movies/shows on your PC as me, 2232gw is the obvious choice. (technically speaking the 2232gw is a 226bw panel with a different filter in front)
