What You Should Know about the HP Photosmart A826

If You Use a Sony Camera, Print Right From Its Memory Stick

This printer can read and write to Sony's proprietary flash memory devices called Memory Sticks, and with an adapter, could also support variants such as Memory Stick Pro, Duo, Pro Duo, and Micro. Few non-Sony devices use Memory Sticks, however, the company is so large that there's still a good chance you might need to read data from one someday.

User Reviews for HP HP Photosmart A826

    Duration of ownership:

Strengths: touch screen, large screen, easy to use

    Weaknesses: paper hard to load

Overall Evaluation: The printer is all it is advertised. It is very user friendly and makes printing pictures easy. We have yet to use the unit as a stand alone printer, I think that is what will really bring out the strenghts of this printer.

Strengths: It appears to be a great product... perhaps they are just listing the wrong specs?? Both the platform and voltage are wrong for use in the USA. This review needs to be more than 30 words.

Weaknesses: I noticed in the specifications that this unit is advertised as 220 VAC which is typically Eurpoean voltage and the platform mentioned is Mac... not Windows as well.

Overall Evaluation: I have not purchased this unit for these reasons and felt compelled to warn others before you buy it. I do not have any negative things to say about the unit as I have not tested it.
