Strengths: Nice keyboard. Easy to text with. Long life battery. Good blue tooth.
Weaknesses: I had to have the phone reset by AT&T twice so far because it locks up. Delay in receiving voicemail messages are bad. I usually get them in 3-4 hours or up to 3-4 days after some leaves a message. This phone has many bugs and I don't like the reception. I get many dropped calls and I am very frustrated with it.
Overall Evaluation: I wish I never purchased the phone. I should have stayed with my old phone. Now I'm stuck with it for 6 more months. I was told that I need to turn the phone off every night so that updates can download. What if I get an emergancy call?

Strengths: Many outstanding features. Nice geek toy.
Weaknesses: Many horrible bugs--Absolutely dismal ATT support
Overall Evaluation: These phones are very easy to fall in love with. The 8525 is very buggy and the 8925 is only marginally better. The white screen of death, car charger doesn?t work, and charge indicator locks until reset are some of the problems. All features can misbehave or hang intermittently. Sometimes it even forgets how to be a phone. I support four of these devices and all have been replaced at least once. Two were replaced three times each. Since they have more bugs than I care to recount, at some point you will need to talk to ATT support. ATT has a telephone hamster wheel where they make you spin for hours and in one case for two weeks. ATT support is a huge bucket of ice water on your love affair with this phone. The support staff is both clueless and careless. Users love these phones when they are working. But for me, however, I rue the day I saw that phone. ATT has consumed too much of my life and I hate those phones.
