- The 17-inch Satellite P205D-S7479 is on the slow side in office applications and suffers from short battery life, but it gets the daily-grind stuff done and is a pretty fast gamer. If a budget desktop replacement laptop capable of running decent big-screen shoot-'em-ups is on your list, this AMD-powered laptop is a nice choice at $1350 (as of November 16, 2007).

Strengths: looks good has lots of features great speakers great screen

Weaknesses: battery power does not last long computer freezes up a lot

Overall Evaluation: toshiba web site had a just released flash bios up date,this not not fix the freeze up problem.computer can not run off of electric and keep the battery charged up.at the same time,i removed the battery.this computer has to much power consumption,i did not know that these lap tops were all haveing freeze up problems.and the computer is made in china.go to computer web sites.see there all of the problems they are haveing with these lap tops and others.dont buy this lap top..toshiba all ready new that these lap tops have defects and problems and are not recalling any of them.
