ViewSonic VA2026w 20-Inch Wide-Screen LCD Monitor Review

- ViewSonic's VA2026w 20-inch wide-screen monitor offers a simple and refined design. It's nearly all matte black, save for a narrow band of silver at the bottom that houses the on-screen display (OSD) controls. The round, ridged base offers only a tilt adjustment without height and swivel adjustments, so those who need ergonomic flexibility won't find it on this display. Two half-loops on the back of the stand direct all cords to the middle of the monitor where they become invisible from the front. It's a simple cable manager but it works.

Strengths: Brilliant HD images, extreme clarity and amazing color.

Overall Evaluation: Being a previous owner of a ViewSonic Monitor, I didn't consider buying anything other than another ViewSonic when I recently upgraded my computer. I chose the VA2026W 20" Widescreen LCD Monitor and it has exceeded my expectations regarding HD images, clarity and color plus fast ClearMotiv video response. It was a cinch to install, plus I love having easy-eye front controls for screen adjustability and ease of use. This monitor has a stylish slim-bezel design with a silver and black case which takes up little room on my desk. It's my opinion that the VA2026W is not just great quality, but a lot of value for your money. I could not be more pleased with my purchase and highly recommend to anyone considering buying a widescreen monitor.
