Sony DSLR-A700
Sony Alpha DSLR-A700 Digital SLR Camera Review
- First impressions of the Alpha DSLR-A700, Sony's $1900 (as of 12/14/2007), 12-megapixel digital single-lens reflex camera, brings to mind terms like "massive," "brick-like," and "complex." With its deep right-hand grip and 2.75-pound weight (which includes the zoom lens in the kit we tested), it feels big and heavy.

Strengths: This camera shoots GREAT pics effortlessly!
Weaknesses: Bulkier than I am used to, but I am getting used to it.
Overall Evaluation: I have shot over 800 pics since I bought this camera and I am incredibly impressed with the performance. I was shooting with ah SONY DSC-F707 for six years at 5 megapixels and I have now found 'heaven' in this new camera. GREAT quality with little or no effort... FANTASTIC!!!!
