Strengths: Corel Draw is far superior to any of its competitors. We have tried Adobe Illustrator but find Corel Draw all versions to simply be easier and more productive. Corel Photo is a very intense photo editing application that in our thoughts gives the user any and all needs they may have.
Weaknesses: We see no weaknesses for what we all use it for. We are a team of 7 graphic designers and we all use Corel Draw Suite.
Overall Evaluation: It is simply the best illustration package.

Strengths: Extremely powerful tools for illustration Very easy to navigate We believe better than the Adobe products for many reasons. Photo Paint is as much as anyone would need to photo edit. A close match for Photoshop. We have used them both but we now perfer PhotoPaint. Easier to use.
Weaknesses: In our view, NONE
Overall Evaluation: We have used both Illustrator by Adobe and the CorelDraw suites and feel that the Corel package is superior without question. Easier to use, faster, creates much smaller equivilent files sizes, far less system memory to operate. We are a design team of 19 illustrators. We all use Corel Draw for all our work. Hope this helps. PS. None of us owns Corel stock. This is just our honest opinions. Thanks
